  • What are your office hours?

    Sunchase at James Madison is open Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm and Saturday from 12pm-4pm. Our office is open on Sundays from June through December, between the hours of 12pm and 4pm.

  • What is the required security deposit?

    $150 Refundable Security Deposit

  • What does the restoration fee cover?

    The $275 restoration fee covers basic cleaning, carpet cleaning, and basic touch-up painting at move out.

  • Do you allow pets?

    We are a pet-friendly community.  We even have a leash-free “Bark Park” where your furry friends can play all day!

  • Which utilities are included?

    Pricing for each apartment includes furniture, parking, internet, trash, and sewer. Even better- you don't have to set up any utilities! Sunchase subsidizes water/sewer and bills back a small portion to residents each month, Electricity is billed by consumption and is conveniently added directly to your account. 

  • Who provides Internet?

    WhiteSky Communications is the wireless internet provider for our community.  This service is included in your rent and will be ready for set up at move in! You can always reach them directly at (866) 755-8593.

  • What school district are you in?

    We are located 1.9 miles from James Madison University (a 10-minute walk through the Arboretum) and just a short drive from EMU and Bridgewater College.

  • How many parking spaces does each resident receive?

    Each resident receives one parking permit.  We also have guest parking located through out the property for visitors which are available on a first come first serve basis.

  • How far are you from public transportation?

    The Harrisonburg Department of Public Transportation (HDPT) has a bus stop directly on our property! Download their app for more route information - Sunchase is on the Purple line.

  • What amenities does Sunchase at James Madison offer?

    Sunchase at James Madison has a 24-hour fitness center, business center with free printing, free tanning and an awesome coffee bar.  We also have a large pool, open year-round, a bark park, corn hole areas, built-in propane grill, and fire pit.
